The event enters the 26 th year in 2015 drawing more than 2,500 exhibitors, 36,000 attendees from 153 countries setting yet another record for attendance providing a platform to spark innovations, bringing pharma suppliers together to meet and develop new dynamic approaches to industry challenges.Around 200 companies from India including industry heavyweights, Sun Pharmaceuticals Ind. One of the major highlights of the current year is the CPhI Pharma Awards. In their 12th consecutive year they will honour companies and individuals driving the pharma industry forward through new innovations, approaches, and strategies - with the addition this year of four new categories.
Launched in 2014, the Innovation Gallery is returning for a second year, and allows for companies to showcase their innovations on an international platform to top pharma executives in attendance. The Exhibitor Showcase, an invaluable opportunity for exhibitors to educate the industry across the expertise and services via providing an open platform for speakers to directly interact with attendees and increase their networking contacts. Another important highlight is the innovation tours, which provide attendees with the opportunity to be guided through the event free of charge, with a brief overview of industry trends and recent innovations within the pharmaceutical industry.
New for 2015 is the CPhI Pharma Forum, a dedicated content village, that will provide a central hub to examine thought leadership from media partners and CPhI Pharma Insights Reports. The Pharma Forum will also be the location for the exhibitor and visitor party, and will include exhibitor Innovation Galleries, the CPhI Pharma Awards and the Pharma Insight Innovation Briefings – offering impartial, in-depth sessions on regional updates and specialist topics covering regulation, QC, traceability, sustainability and health to name a few. Furthermore, there are free sessions in the Exhibitors’ Showcase – which will provide exhibitors a forum to deliver first-hand presentations to senior pharma attendees from across the globe.
The annual report, now in its third year, is a combination of opinions, forecasts and predictions from some of the world’s most prominent key opinion leaders.
This year’s panel features 13 respected pharma figures who will be exploring a range of issues critical to pharma’s growth over both the medium and long term. The panel includes a range of experts from across biopharm, generics, pharma supply, ingredients, contract manufacturers to big pharma, regulators and some of the leading independent consultants advocating transformational change.
In the CPhI Pre-Connect Congress, taking place on October 12, senior executives and influential speakers will discuss the latest innovations, trends and developments from across the industry in a series of market-led educational modules.
Exhibitor Showcases provide exhibitors with a forum to deliver first-hand presentations to senior pharma attendees from across the globe. In addition, the Pharma Insights Briefings – 45-minute seminars on specialist topics covering the entire pharmaceutical supply chain – will take place in the Pharma Forum across all three days of the event.
